Send a free text message to an Iridium phone here (Must have a number commencing with 8816)

After following the link above:

1. Enter the remaining satellite phone number.  The +8816 will already be there for you.

2. Enter your email address so that the person youu are sending a message to can reply  with an email to that address.  Their email will be restricted to 160 characters. As per the example below.

3. Click SEND MESSAGE

4. The message will be recieved when the satellite phone is next 'seen' by the network. This is not usually as quick as we have come to expect with sending SMS to standard mobile phones.
